Seven Mountains Wine Cellars is debuting its new outdoor cooking space, made possible with funding received through the Happy Valley Agventures grant program.
Scott Bubb, owner of Seven Mountains Wine Cellars, says the kitchen is open!
“You no longer need to bring your own food; we’ve got you covered,” Bubb said. “We have learned through the pandemic that people want to be outside when the weather permits, and we believe we need to give our customers a wonderful outdoor experience. Adding the Patio Grille brings even more value to their visit because they can have food to go along with the award-winning wines that we offer.”
Bubb said they have plans to expand their menu with the help of the new equipment.
“We’ve purchased a wood fired smoker, commercial refrigeration, worktables, food warmers, cheese melter, a kegerator to serve PA brewed beers and a flattop grill,” Bubb said. “We offer hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and pulled pork nachos. We spray our yellow apple wine on the pulled pork periodically as it cooks, and it comes out juicy with good smoke flavor. As we progress, we would like to offer all of these with the option to make it into a platter. Maybe add smoked mac and cheese or some smoked baked beans.”
Seven Mountains Wine Cellars is located at 324 Decker Valley Road, Spring Mills, Pennsylvania, 16875. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Stop by for a free tasting, schedule a tour, check out the gift shop, and join the wine club. Patrons can experience local music by campfire on Fridays. Pets are welcome on a leash!
